So I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to make this a permanent category, but y'all know when I was at the other website, I did this thing called Throwback Thursdays, where I'd play a hot Throwback... EVERY THURSDAY. I don't want to infringe on my former home, but if you, the dedicated readers, want me to continue to blog weekly throwbacks (resurrected as REWIND WEDNESDAYS, of course). Feel free to e-mail me and hit me up with your requests, same as before. Now, all of you familiar with SOHH Breezy have read me repeatedly state that my favoite femcee of all time is MC Lyte. So, it's only natural that at times I go into periods where I play her songs and any song she ever guested on nonstop. Obviously, today was one of those days, and I thought I'd share my enthusiasm with you. Don't get me wrong, I love the original, and the lyrics are virtually the same,but the fact that this remake has both sister and brother on it is just dope to me. There's no other way to describe it. (This appeared on MC Lyte' 1998 release, Seven & Seven).
