I have yet to watch an Alfamega video or listen to a song. So I figured there is no time like the present. Let's get to it......
This video is shot in all black and white. Things start off with Alfamega going to a therapy session of sorts. He speaks on his behavior at the infamous award show. Then we get into the video and song. Basically, the video is a just a tour and deep look of the hood. And there is a symbolic window featured in certain parts of the project as well. However, nothing else really takes place. It's very simple, the concept is redundant, but I think the message it put forth needs to be heard as much as possible.
Overall, I was not impressed with this video. It looked cheap and I feel like there could have been a way better job done. I respect what Alfamega was trying to do here but he could have stepped it up. I do find it surprising that he has remorse and what not for his actions at the award show. That's a good thing and I'm proud of him for that. IF he was being sincere, after all the beef was supposed to have been over way back when. The song too is not all that impressive. The production was crappy and the hook was a hot mess. Way too much going on at one time on that hook. The verses were just bland, Alfamega didn't put any heart into what he was rapping about. And for songs like this, you need heart, makes it more real. If you just have to have something to do, I'd say watch this. Otherwise, I'd say pass, your not missing nothing at all. -MinM
