I'm sure that everyone heard about Katt Williams being hospitalized for a mental breakdown and saw the tapes and all that. I didn't break the story cause at first, I thought people was just hating. But then when I found it was true, I just didn't have the heart to put pimpin' out there like that. Well he is back in business now and is talking about retiring from comedy. However, he wants to stay in the game via another medium. Also, he has beef with a big time producer and rapper. Peep the video of what he says is his final interview ever, to get further details on what's going on.
Basically, Katt is leaving the comedy game at the end of this month. He is going to pursue a career in rapping and run his own label. He feels that he did all that he cares to accomplish in the comedy game and is now done. He has a love for hip-hop and wants to see where that takes him. So he will do his thing with Dipset/Skull Gang. And than his label is called Katt Pack Records and he has artists lined up and the whole nine. He does plan to stick with acting and what not though, so I guess we would still see a little comedy there. Oh and his beef is with Jermaine Dupri for not supporting Da Brat while she's in prison. Apparently, he thinks that JD has dues to pay to Brat for her loyalty to him all these years. Crazy stuff, but it's an interesting five minutes though.
This makes me so sad, can't believe Katt isn't going to be doing comedy anymore. That's my dude, now I have to buy all his stand up shows for sure. I mean I don't knock anybody's hustle, but rapping ain't for him. I've heard his songs and they need some serious work. And running with Dipset isn't going to make things any better at all. Maybe his label will turn up something though. If not, we know he can act his a** off, so he will have a little something to fall back on. He had a good run, I wish him the best with all of his future endeavors.
**Sidenote: When the hell did Brat get locked up?! I feel so off my blogging game for not knowing that, lol. You get three years for busting a chic's head with a bottle huh, that's deep. Oh well, keep ya head up Brat, Midwest love all day! -MinM
