First off, my apologies for such a late first post. My net went down and I had to go through all the drama with that. I'm still not on the most stable connection, but it will do for now.
So Diddy's "A Raisin In The Sun," TV show has received a Golden Globe nomination. The nomination is, "Best Mini Series Or Motion Picture Made For Television." Sources report that Diddy is very excited about this news. He feels this is a major accomplishment and is shocked that the show got this honor, in addition to previously receiving an Emmy nod. For those who didn't catch it, the show aired last February. Diddy played the role of Walter Lee Younger. The show was based off of the broadway production.
I love this type of stuff. Black people have little to damn near no representation at these types of events, so it's always good to see some type of recognition going on. The chances of the show winning the award, I can't call. I'm not big on Diddy's acting, so I didn't watch it. However, the production itself does hold a lot of weight, so there is most likely a good possibility. I wish him and his fellow cast members the best of luck. I'm sure we will hear something, if they take the award. -MinM
