By now you know that DMX was on the run after missing a court date in Arizona. He's facing three charges and there was a $5,000 reward out for info leading to his arrest. Well, the run is over, as he has been caught and returned to police custody.
X was caught yesterday afternoon in Florida. He was arrested at the home of music producer Scott Storch in Palm, Island. Which is just off of Miami Beach. X's lawyer is stating that the rehab center X was supposedly in, is located in Florida too. And that the rapper has been in and out of the facility for a couple weeks now. The Feds were given a tip from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Arizona, and the arrest was made without any problems. At the time this story broke, X was locked up in Miami-Dade County Jail. Ultimately, he will return to Arizona authorities, where he will be held on $120,000 bond.
This was an interesting turn of events. I am really curious as to why he would be at Storch's house. He knew he was wanted, why didn't he just lay low. Also, who tipped off the Sheriff's Office is another thing I am curious about. I think somebody dropped a dime on my boy. You know n--ggas get shook, when the pressure is on. And anybody who was helping him run, could get an aiding charge, if the police have proof. Oh well, I knew they was gone get him eventually. At least now he can get this all over with. He should have just kept his original court date, he would have been alot better off. This mess just made ish a whole lot deeper. Oh well too late to do right now, maybe they won't go too hard on him. -MinM
