Ok, so we do not cover beefs per say on this site. None of us really get into them like that, unless it's something major. But since I did post the Rick Ross song and highlighted the lyrics that called out 50 Cent, I felt this was only fair. With that said, this joint is nothing special by way of diss tracks. The production is decent, got a good piano and bass. The hook is annoying, 50's voice just grates the nerve and the repetition just adds to the pain. The verses are alright, nothing to get excited about. It's just the usual jabs about Ross being an officer, so called boss, and other things that he raps about. 50 could have came a lot better than this. Overall, this track is just okay. So far neither rapper has the leg up, both songs were rather weak. I think Nas set the bar too high for beef tracks when he did "Ether." I haven't heard a respectable one since. On another note, at the end of this 50 calls out Lil Wayne. And brings up Wayne's attempt to beef with Eminem. 50 and Wayne I could do without, but Wayne and Em would be hella interesting to me. I think that could give us the end to Wayne's career that we have all been hoping for. I'll try and keep my ears open for further developments with that one. -MinM
