With his album finally being released, Maino may have a new project in the works. He possibly could be joining the masses of other celebs in the world of reality television.
However, it is not the typical pogram that comes to mind. He wants to take a White male who is completely foreign to the hip-hop culture and move him into his home. From there he wants to introduce him to the world of a hip-hop artist. This includes all the stuff we get to see on a daily basis and some of the behind the scenes events that go down with the industry as well. The show could possibly end up on MTV and Maino says there is no script. He says everything is 100% real, this especially would include any drama that occured. Details are few, as all the program business is only about 90% done according to reports. Maino's inspiration for doing the show, was to bring a deeper understanding about hip-hop to those outside of the culture. If more info becomes available about the program, I'll be back with an update.
I'd love to see this program make it to television. It sounds really interesting and it is extra different from all the other love and wanna be superstar shows that are out these days. Plus, MTV could use some quality programs on it's roster, they are starting to decline just like BET. Fingers crossed, I'm sure the final decision will be made here soon. -MinM
