Remember back in like 2006 when Lil Jon was getting everyone all hype for his crunk/rock mash up album? Then all of a sudden, you stopped hearing about it and he sort of disappeared?
Well he is officially back and still promising that his crunk/rock masterpiece is coming. Jon says that fans can expect to hear all different styles of music on this album. He says he plans to cover everything from rap to rock to electro. His goal is to continue to appeal to his largely diverse group of fans. Also, he's looking to get his international success levels up and reclaim his high rankings in the United States. The guest appearances for this project are as versatile as the featured genres. They include: The Game, R. Kelly, 3Oh!3, and more. The album is supposedly hitting retailers for sure this time on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. It is titled simply after it's main genres, Crunk Rock. No details about: the first single, video, track listing, etc; are available at the moment. But I will keep my eyes and ears open and update accordingly. I'm sure something will be leaking soon, November isn't that far at all.
I was wondering what happened to Jon's crazy a**. The game was so quiet without him, lol. But I'm interested to see what he has to offer with this comeback. I mean I thought the first crunk era was alright. He put out some pretty hardcore stuff that you had to feel. And whatever new stuff he has, can't be worse than this dance/hook crap rap that we got going on right now. I'm so sick of that mess, it's not even funny. And yes I'm doing my part to kill it. No radio or music countdown shows for ya girl. Anyways, like I said when I get my hands on some material from this project, I'll be sure to post it. -MinM
