Reports have it that Will Smith is gearing up for Hancock 2, the sequel to his previous smash hit super hero flick. The news was recently broken by the director at the Toronto Film Festival.
Of course, there was not a lot of details released about the project. However, it was confirmed that miss Charlize Theron will also be returning to resume her role as well. And there was a little plot teaser dropped too. Smith and Theron will once again be super beings but lose that ability when around each other. They will have to work together to take out some type of corrupt third party. Additionally, it is reported that the film will take a closer glimpse into the unique world that the duo come from. Jason Bateman may return to resume his role as well. If Hancock wasn't your thing, not to fret. Smith is rumored to be working on a few more movies too. They are I Am Legend Prequel, a fantasy flick called The City That Sailed, and a much desired Bad Boys 3. Now none of these films have been confirmed yet but look very promising. It's just a matter of tying up loose ends. There is no info on when Hancock 2 will begin filming or possibly be released. As things further develop with the flick, I'll do an update.
This is hot news, I loved the first Hancock movie. And they are keeping the key players from the original film which is a very good look. Will is a great actor and one of the few who can make a bangin' sequel. The other movies sound pretty solid as well. Especially, the Bad Boys 3 film with Martin Lawrence. It seems like it's been forever since the second one but I'd be willing to overlook that for a decent movie, lol. Stay tuned if your interested in any of these movies.
