Shyne was released from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and sent off to Belize today. He took a Continental Airlines flight in Buffalo, New York and was accompanied by Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree. He was expected to arrive in Belize around 5pm EST. Once landing, he will have to do an interview and go through processing with Belize police. After that he will be released into the care of his uncle, who is a member of the Belize Parliament and his father, who is the Prime Minister of Belize. Shyne will continue to fight for his rights to return to the United States. As for the future of his recording career, that is still uncertain. However, there have been rumors that when he is able that Shyne would like to move to Europe or a Caribbean country close to the United States and work on getting back into the music game. This will be the last update, unless the situation takes some sort of drastic turn.
Well, I hope Shyne had a safe trip back to Belize. I'm sure it will be uncomfortable at first, but I think he will adjust just fine. And hopefully he will get settled enough with everything that he can go back to doing music soon. In all this madness, it would be nice to see him get something good that he wants. -MinM
