Haven't heard from Common in a while, so I thought it would be nice to check this out. The production here is decent. It has a deep bass, some light instruments, and a very mellow vibe. The hook is solid, John Legend has good vocals going but his delivery is hard to make out. So he needs to work on pronouncing things clearer and the volume in general needs to be turned up a notch. The verses are on point, very traditional Common for you. The verses hold a very conscious rap theme, complimented by deep lyrics, and a very clean/crisp delivery. Overall, I'd say this track is proper. Not Common at his best but he still did his thing. If nothing else, Common fans are sure to enjoy it.
