Looks like Diddy has finally ironed out all of his issues with his upcoming album, Last Train To Paris, and is finally ready to start the journey. He just dropped a new video for his second single, "Love Come Down." The song is fire but can he and his Dirty Money crew bring that same heat to the video? Click play, let's find out.
This video was directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini. It appears that the video has no real concept or story line to it. It's basically the trio of Diddy, Dawn Richards, and Kalenna; hanging out in various dark/black structures with lights and doing their thing with a few special effects thrown in. They attempt to put their swag on high with wannabe fierce all black wardrobes, a white wardrobe change to switch things up, and unique accessories. The girls sported crazy shades, while Diddy rocked a grill. Throw in some short dance sequences and that's more or less the video. Overall, I'd have to say it's kind of disappointing.
Ok, so I get that this was supposed to be all dark, intense, and fierce. But after all the effort and deepness put into the "Angels" video, this is just a huge let down. I mean props to Dawn, cause mama was working it. Other than her though, this just didn't cut it for me. And Diddy should NEVER EVER rock a grill again, grills are not his thing. Plus, they are kind of played out at the moment. Idk, a concept or theme would have definitely took this video up a notch or two. Thank goodness the track is hot, only thing that makes the video bearable. The trio needs to step their game up for the next joint. Last Train To Paris has been pushed back to 2010 but I'll keep you posted when more definite details drop. Did you like the video? Leave a comment and let us know something. -MinM
