Back in January of this year, rapper Bizzy Bone was robbed and beaten. I broke this story and did an update way back when it happened. That was a while ago, so readers might not quite remember everything. If that's the case, readers can catch up here: part 1, part 2. Moving on, the individuals who robbed him have officially been sentenced for their crime.
Marlon "Bow Wow" Jones was sentenced to 12 years in prison for robbing rapper Bizzy Bone in January of this year. Jones and three others plead guilty to beating and robbing the rapper in a hotel room in California. The men grabbed a hold of Bizzy in his hotel room, beat/choked him, and then took his jewelry. Again, the kicker here is that Jones was a member of an anti gang/violence organization called Unity One, when this all took place. Reports say that during the trial, Jones admitted that he committed the crime to help benefit a street gang. The other involved parties received some pretty lengthy sentences as well. Those sentences range from six to 19 years in prison. On another note, Bone Thugs - N - Harmony are preparing to release their new album, Uni 5: The World's Enemy. The album is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2009 and the rappers plan on doing some promoting when it drops. However, sources say that Bizzy Bone will not be allowed to take part in the promoting, due to the fact that he has to attend court ordered drug rehab.
I'm shocked that they got such harsh sentences but I am glad they did. People need to learn to keep their hands off of other people's stuff. Bet that gang don't show any of those fools any love while they do their time. For the first time in a long while, justice has been served. Bizzy should be happy with this outcome, I don't think it could have went any better. -MinM
