Looks like the Lil Wayne coverage is about to start early, in light of his pending jail sentence. QD3 Entertainment has finally got around to getting ready to release their documentary on the popular rockstar rapper. The documentary was featured in this year's Sundance Film Festival and reportedly was well received. It will be called, Lil Wayne: The Carter, and hits retailers on November 17, 2009. Check out the preview below.....
This looks pretty deep to me. There seems to be some footage not quite captured in other documentaries or pieces on Wayne that hit on some pretty touchy subjects. For example: the whole bit with the cough syrup, his people's reactions, and the talk of him possibly dying as a result of his recklessness. I'd like to see how that whole thing pans out myself. This should be a good one. Seems like it's an honest look at Wayne and not just a fluff piece about how popular his music is. It shows the good, bad, and the ugly; and you gotta appreciate that.
