Pitbull and Common are representing for the hip-hop community at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The two rappers will be playing in the big event. The players will be split into two teams and NBA vets Magic Johnson and Alonzo Mourning will serve as coaches. The rappers will be joined by a host of various other celebrities. Those celebrities will include actors: Anthony Anderson, Chris Tucker, Paul Moore, and many more. Don't count the professionals out just yet though either. The NBA wouldn't be what it is without it's star athletes. Some of the NBA's finest are suiting up to play too. Some of the pros that can be expected to be seen are: Rick Fox, Robert Horry, and several others. The big celebrity game is just one of numerous events that are going down during the NBA All-Star weekend. There will also be concerts, parties, and various other activities going down. The game takes place on February 12, 2010 at the Dallas Convention Center. All-Star weekend runs from February 11 until February 14. There is no other specific news as to what all will be taking place during the infamous weekend. If anything else interesting comes up, I'll do another post.
This sounds like an entertaining game. My only thing is why don't they have more relevant celebrities playing. The ones they have are okay, but nothing to get too excited about. All-Star weekend only happens once a year. You think they would go big, get some A-Listers out on the court. But oh well, good luck to Pit and Common. Hope everyone has a nice time. -MinM
