Diddy has put down the mic and picked up a script. The prominent hip-hop mogul is starring in the spin off comedy to Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him To The Greek.
Get Him To The Greek is about a young college graduate who works as an intern at a record company. He is given a chance to shine, when an opportunity to save the company comes around. He must transport a very popular troubled rocker from England to LA's Greek Theater within in three days. Though it sounds simple enough, the intern faces plenty of obstacles along the way.
Diddy takes on the role of the executive of the record company. Russell Brand and Jonah Hill who were actually in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, also star in the film. Brand revises his role as troubled rocker, Aldous Snow. And Hill takes on a new role as the young intern, Aaron Green. Several big named artists are set to make guest appearances as themselves as well. The movie is directed by Nicholas Stoller, another familiar name from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The film is slated for release sometime in June 2010, check out the preview below.
This movie looks alright, not really my cup of tea though. Diddy should be great in his role, since it hits so close to home, lol. And Brand is such an interesting individual to say the least. Any body plan on checking this out? -MinM

I like Russell Brand, so I'll probably check it out. Forgetting Sarah Marshall wouldn't have been half as good without him or Jonah Hill. Those two together were golden. lol
