Good news for E-40 fans, the West Coat veteran is making his return to the game in a big way. Next month, he will drop not one but two comeback albums. These will make his 13th and 14th solo efforts. The albums will be titled: Revenue Retrievin’ The Day Shift
and Revenue Retrievin’ The Night Shift.
In addition to dropping two projects at one time, E-40 has also laced the albums with huge guest appearances. Those guest appearances include the likes of: Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Too $hort, and tons more. The two projects result in about 38 brand new tracks from the California rapper. The producer line up is pretty strong too. To top it all off, the distribution for these albums will also be special. E-40's son's record label will link up with EMI to help release the albums to retailers. E-40 said that he linked up with his son, in an effort to keep things in the family and have more of a personal stake in advertising and such. So if this got you all hype and ready to go snatch a few E-40 leaks, you might want to calm down. Due to past issues with leaked music, EMI is taking special measures to make sure that no new E-40 material drops before the release date. Reps from EMI say that they are honored to be working with E-40 and will do all they can to keep his albums secure. The albums are scheduled for release on March 30, 2010. No further info, like a first single or anything, has been unveiled yet. Should anything come up, I will post accordingly.
Not an E-40 fan, so don't have much to say. I know a lot of folks are though, so this is for them. Happy Reading! -MinM
