This video was supposed to debut last month but was shelved. It was basically composed of live footage of Tim and JT performing the catchy track. For reasons unknown, that version was shelved. The project was then redone under the guise of director Bryan Barber and recently debuted a few days ago. The video opens and mainly takes place in front of a neon diner sign. The diner specializes in hotcakes. The infamous duo dance and do their respective parts, surrounded by pretty scantily clad females. The next shot features Tim and a friend chilling in a car. Outside of the car, more lightly dressed females skate around the vehicle, as if taking orders. The next shot features the duo in a room with two elegant chairs. They chill while the ladies serve them sweets and fuss over them. As the video ends, there are solo shots of some of the top girls eating various types of cake. And that more or less is the project.
I think this video was pretty good. It did a great job of reflecting the theme of the song and creating a visual for the lyrics. It's definitely more of a piece for the fellas, lots of eye candy is present. In fact that's my only complaint, I'd have like to seen more of the duo and a little more action taking place. Otherwise, everything else was done well. And the guys look like they were having a blast. Always nice to see a genuine camaraderie in a collaboration. This will probably do a whole lot better than some live footage would have. But please watch for yourself and generate your own opinion. -MinM
