The urban animated series The Boondocks, has always shown love to the Hip-Hop world. From it's opening song, to it's crazy and likeable characters, the show has no shortage of the Hip-Hop culture reflected in it. The show has even featured some big names from the game, like Busta Rhymes and Snoop Dogg. So since it has been renewed for a third and supposedly final season, which kicks off tomorrow (5/2/2010), I felt it only right to drop the preview of the first episode for the readers. The episode is entitled "It's A Black President, Huey Freeman" and has a strong President Barack Obama theme going on.
This looks like it's going to be a good opener for the new season. I think Aaron McGruder is going to rustle some feathers with this episode. But he is no stranger to doing that with this cartoon. That just happens to be one of the many things that I love about it. Are there any other major Boondocks fans out there? Leave a comment with your thoughts about the new season and the premiere episode. The season will air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line up, Sundays at 11:30pm Eastern Standard time. -MinM
