*Note: Sorry about any problems you may have had viewing this video. Guess iTunes had to try and get their money before the video was totally accessible.
Anyways, this is the song that made me a certified B.o.B fan. Therefore, a video review was a must for this project. Let's click play and check out B.o.B and Miss Hayley Williams doing their thing.
The video opens with a shadow of B.o.B against a lit piano backdrop and a shadow of Hayley against a multicolored one. From there, we see B.o.B in another solo shot with a different lighted background. He is also featured in a party scene. The video goes on to show Hayley in various solo shots via photographs and B.o.B does his thing via an onstage performance. The video closes out with more various lit backgrounds and a subtle airplane dance done by the two artists. And that is pretty much the piece in a nutshell. The video is very simple, doesn't really have a plot or anything. It's basically just a very pretty three minute light and image show.
Though there wasn't much to this piece, I really enjoyed it. Due to how popular the song is, something grander was expected. However, the lights and images created an atmosphere that fit the song perfectly. Also, B.o.B and Hayley gave great energy and performances in the project. The viewer can see that they are really into the track. Especially B.o.B, as he looks really intense in some shots. And since the track is a pretty simple one, a plot and all that may have just taken away from things. Which is never a good look. In the end, this video is definitely worth checking out. B.o.B fans will be especially pleased. Don't forget to show your support and snag a copy of B.o.B's album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, if you haven't already. It's available online and in stores now. -MinM
