MIMS hasn't been heard from lately and he usually has a fire track or two under his belt. So decided to spin this and see if it falls in that category. The production here is hot. It has a low tone, strong bass line, and a street vibe going on. The hook on the other hand is not so great. The lyrics are weak and it feels incomplete. However, MIMS isn't really a strong rapper in the hook department anyway. He gets by because his hooks are usually catchy. That can't even be said with this cut though, he just fell completely flat. The verses do offer some redemption. MIMS has a solid delivery and some well put together rhymes. At the same time, his word play isn't as clever or memorable as it usually is. A few lines come close, but are missing that extra something to put them over the edge. Bottom line, this track is alright. MIMS has definitely had stronger joints in the past. As usual, don't just take my word for it. Please click that link and decide for yourself. -MinM
