Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 12 - Season Finale

This week's episode of Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry is a special one. The reason is because, it's the season finale. That's right this is the last episode of the hit internet series for the time being. Fredro Starr takes the series out on a major note, as he talks about his relationship with Biggie. They weren't best friends or nothing, but they spent a significant amount of time hanging out prior to the legendary rapper's death. They partied together at a special event, held a private listening session for a major album in hip-hop history, and did a few extracurricular activities as well. Get all the juicy details below.

Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 11 - "California Dreamin"

This week's tale takes a slight detour from the usual rap theme. It gives fans a little more insight into Fredro Starr the actor. He was put into the acting game by veteran actor Forest Whitaker and made his debut in the movie Strapped. Next, he goes on to unveil his first Hollywood adventure with a fallen rap legend. Find out what caught Fredro off guard about Hollywood and led him to an awkward moment. This was probably my favorite story. It was really cool to hear all that about the different actors and whatnot. Regardless of what any one says, I love Fredro's swagger. The stories wouldn't be complete without his little animations, lol. -MinM

Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry - Episode 10

This is a little late, so sorry for the delay. This week's edition of Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry features a story about the time Onyx performed their song "Walk In New York," in Los Angeles during the infamous East Coast / West Coast beef. Check things out below.

This was interesting to watch. It was cool to hear someone's perspective on the beef besides the usual suspects. And it took some guts to perform that song with everything that was going on at that time. So this was another good tale from Fredro. -MinM

Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 9 (50 Cent Beef - Part 2)

Alright, so once again we had a little inconsistency last week in the series, as there was no episode posted. However, things seem to be back on track. A few weeks ago, Fredro Starr dropped episode 8 of his widely popular internet series. It was all about the beef between 50 Cent and Onyx. It was noted that there were two parts to the story. The second part is below, check it out.

This was entertaining, I found out a lot of things I never knew. Fredro Starr put on a lot of people back in the day. And I agree that the way 50 handled things was pretty wack. But oh well, it is what it is. The next episode seems to be another 2Pac story. Should be good, I'm looking forward to it. -MinM

Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 8

So last Monday, we missed Fredro Starr and his story for the week. But it looks like things are back on schedule. So check out Starr as he speaks on his beef with 50 Cent. Get the scoop from how it all started, to where they stand now. This is a two part tale, so be sure to check back next week for the second half of the story.

Once again, I think this was a hot tale. Fredro is the best story teller, he gets so into things with the motions and all, lol. And I understand why 50 would be upset but I'm curious as to how long this went on. I'm with Fredro, ish happens, learn to let it go. And Fredro is the leader of Onyx, so why not call him out? See 50 was on that bulls--t even early on in his career. Hope things stay on schedule for next week. I definitely want to know how this one ends. -MinM

Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 7

It's Monday and that means another Fredro Starr tale. This one depicts the early days of Starr. It covers everything from him rapping in the park, to him linking up with Jam Master Jay, to how Onyx was born, and much more. Take a look at this week's new story below. 

I thought this was good to hear. I learned a lot of things that I didn't know about Starr and Onyx in the past. They have an interesting history. I found Starr's early rap style pretty bad, so I am glad that he switched it up. The New York style fits him a whole lot better. Any thoughts, leave comments and let us know something. -MinM

Sorry for the irregular posting, been a crazy time. Think I'm just about back on schedule though. Anyways, it's time for more Fredro Starr and his animated stories. This one details three of his favorite studio sessions. I thought this was another good story. I never knew Em did a song with anybody in Onyx, gotta pay better attention to things I guess, lol. And the DMX imitation was pretty comical too. Fredro has some pretty interesting memories to share. I still want to see the fourth episode though. Nothing ever did come up about it. Oh well, what do you guys think of the series so far? Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 5

It's Monday, which means it's time for another tale from mister Fredro Starr. Now, not sure what happened to episode four and the DMX story. Did some research and I can't find a reason for it not being posted. But if anything comes up about it, I'll post accordingly. Anyways, this week features episode five and it is all about how The Wu-Tang Clan and Onyx beef got started. Apparently, the late ODB and Starr kicked the whole thing off. This was a good one, as like was mentioned in the video, I'd never knew anything popped off between the two groups at all. So it was interesting to hear the story and how things went down. The way they squashed the beef was a good look, I must say. They did it on their own as mature adults, that's very respectable. And props to Starr for telling the story in the most respectful way possible. Since ODB is no longer with us, it was a little risky dropping this tale. But I think fans will still enjoy it and be cool about it. -MinM

Travis Barker - "Forever" (Remix)

It's no secret that though ever the popular rocker, Travis Barker is a big Hip-Hop fan. He listens to the music, is friends with some big names in the game, appears in videos, etc. But his biggest and best display of affection for the genre is, his killer drum remixes of some of his favorite hot Hip-Hop singles of the moment. This time around he took a stab at the biggest collabo joint since last year, "Forever." Did he do Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem justice? As usual, I think Travis killed this track. That boy is a monster on those drums, very gifted. I love what he does, he should do more producing and stuff in Hip-Hop. Fredro Starr's Tales Of The Industry: Episode 3

Due to the good feedback and popularity of the previous posts, I decided to just run with Fredro Starr's new web series for all the episodes. It's only once a week and I too find them to be very entertaining. So check out episode 3 as Starr talks about partying it up in Las Vegas with Mike Tyson himself. 

I love the way Starr talks, he is so animated, lol. I found this one to be pretty interesting. I like how he kept it real about being impressed at the party and being leery of Mike and all that. Most rappers put up such a front these days, it's ridiculous. So props to Starr for keeping it one hundred. Anyone else have thoughts?
